Εισαγωγή στο Τμήμα Φυσικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών . Πτυχίο φυσικού το 1981 με βαθμό « Λίαν καλώς, 7.94 ».
Μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Semiconductor Laboratory  του Technical  Research Centre of Finland. Κάτοχος διδακτορικού διπλώματος  το 1989 με βαθμό «¶ριστα»
Ερευνητικά ενδιαφέροντα
               Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα επικεντρώνονται στη μελέτη ηλεκτρικών ιδιοτήτων υλικών. 

              Μελέτη των ηλεκτρικών ιδιοτήτων λεπτών υμενίων Μετάλλων – Πυριτίου. .

              Μελέτη ηλεκτρικών ιδιοτήτων λεπτών υμενίων πορώδους πυριτίου, οξειδωμένου και μη, και πορώδους οξειδίου του αργιλίου.

              Μελέτη πυριτίου υπό τάση (Strain Silicon). 

              Μελέτη του Γερμανίου και της ανάπτυξης πάνω σε αυτό οξειδίων υψηλής διηλεκτρικής σταθεράς (High-k Dielectrics, π.χ HfO2, ZnO κλπ)

              Μελέτη  σύνθετων υλικών εποξειδικής ρητίνης - Οξειδίων ( ZnO, TiO2 κλπ).

              Ανάπτυξη με  ALD ( Atomic Layer Deposition) και μελέτη υπερλεπτων υμενίων με εφαρμογές σε οργανικά ηλεκτρονικά
